Testing

  • Drug and Alcohol Testing

ITSA is experienced in all aspects of drug and alcohol testing and offers standard DOT and substance abuse panels for drug-free workplace testing.

Specimens including urine, hair, oral fluid, saliva (for alcohol) and point of collection testing can be incorporated to maximize the effectiveness of a detection program. Expanded opiate panels, medical professional panels, adulterant testing and customized cut-off levels are also available.

ITSA’s automated downloading from numerous laboratories directly to our customized reporting software makes for fast and accurate results reporting back to the employer.

  • Medical Review Officer Services

A key part of ITSA’s services involve the use of our certified Medical Review Officer (MRO). The MRO function is an indispensable and required component of all our laboratory testing procedures. Our MRO’s are employees of ITSA and are available for our clients to speak to for any questions.

  • Nationwide Collection Site Management

ITSA’s resources include a database of over 8,000 collection facilities nationwide that include clinics and lab patient service centers to provide in-house, on-site, and after-hours drug and alcohol testing services.  ITSA will establish necessary communications with the collection sites and provide said sites with the appropriate protocols and ongoing monitoring of the sites to the adherence of established company protocols.

  • Student Drug Testing

Typically, students tested are those who:

    • participate in the school athletic programs
    • are engaged in competitive, extracurricular, school-sponsored activities
    • have provided written consent to participate in a random drug testing program with parental or guardian consent

ITSA can assist schools in developing effective student testing programs and aid in the application of federal grant funds.

  • DNA Testing

DNA profiling (also called DNA testing, DNA typing, or genetic fingerprinting) is a technique employed by forensic scientists to assist in the identification of individuals on the basis of their respective DNA profiles. Although 99.9% of human DNA sequences are the same in every person, enough of the DNA is different to distinguish one individual from another. ITSA offers DNA testing for Paternity, Ancestry, and Relationship Testing.
