CDL-Downgrades.
Quick tip: The license will be downgraded for all
drivers who have a prohibited status.
Once the CDL driver successfully completes their
return-to-duty process and their status is
changed to “not prohibited”, the State Driver
Licensing Agency (SDLA) will allow the driver to
reinstate their commercial driving privileges.
To be changed from “prohibited” to “not
prohibited”, an FMCSA covered employer must
enter the negative return-to-duty test into the
Clearinghouse.
