What is the Supervisor’s Role & Responsibility for the Company?

Requirements for Supervisors:
- Know your company’s policy/plan and how to promote the policy/plan with company employees
- Learn the physical signs and symptoms of possible drug and alcohol abuse in the workplace
- Gain knowledge of the performance indicators of drug and alcohol abuse in the workplace
- Understand how to document a reasonable suspicion event of drug and/or alcohol abuse
- Become familiar with the skills needed for good supervisory communication
- Know what resources are available to assist an employee
